The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) is a national non-profit charity committed to excellence in its services to families, educators, caregivers and individuals with autism. OAR funds practical research that will make a difference for the generation living with autism.  No other organization primarily focuses on applying research to the challenges of autism.

Autism is rising at a dramatic rate and the disorder strikes an alarming 1 in 150 children born today. That’s double the rate of ten years ago and ten times the incidence of a generation ago. Autism affects three times as many children as juvenile diabetes and even a higher total than childhood cancer.
