1. Join the RUN FOR AUTISM team at www.firstgiving.com/oar
Once you're at the firstgiving site, select "Get Started" and select Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon from the list of events.
2. If you have not already done so, register for the event on your own at the official race website: http://www.clevelandmarathon.com/Registration/ using the special discount code OAR2009 (for the marathon or half marathon) or OAR2009TRACK (for the 10K). Discount codes are case-sensitive and must be entered in the "Charity Code" box.
All participants pay a $25 team registration fee during sign-up.
This fee helps recover a portion of the costs associated with the materials provided and administrative expenses. OAR asks each team member for this contribution to help keep the maximum amount of money raised going directly towards autism research.

Event Information
The 32nd annual Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K is distinctively one of the flattest and fastest courses. This marathon is one of the 50 oldest marathons in the US and is also a Boston Marathon qualifier. Every year, more than 10,000 runners, walkers and wheelers come to this event. As you run through your scenic “tour” of Cleveland, you will be participating in one of the oldest running traditions in the Midwest.
